History

The establishment of the TADT as a non-profit organization is founded on more than 20 years of experience in the corporate world. In 1989 the first business, that now forms part of the TADT network, was launched and projects were initiated. The dream to serve the people of Africa became a reality as a strong business and support network developed, culminating in the establishment of the TADT.

A network was established and today it comprises of a number of diverse business operations in the natural, environmental, social development and social resource fields as well as geo-enviro and engineering consultancies, construction concerns and service and supplies businesses.

Networking with various like-minded enterprises, businesses and service providers with a similar vision of making a difference in Africa eventually led to the establishment of the Supporting Network of the TADT as presently defined.

With the committed backing of the Supporting Network the TADT was established as a non-profit vehicle which could structure projects and accommodate the broadening global interest of participating in "Touching Africa" and making a difference.

Built on this rich foundation the TADT is equipped to make a difference in Africa through rendering services which would connect the "needs component" of a society with the "provision component" in a sustainable manner while ensuring maximum return on investment and maximum benefit to all concerned.
